Responsibilities

  • Receive and process employee status change forms; input into HRIS system.
  • Prepare, data-entry and maintain employee records.
  • Respond to employee basic HR data questions concerning benefits, pay and HR policies & resources.
  • Manage day to day general HR e-mail inbox and respond within 48 hours or forward to appropriate stakeholder.
  • Track employee questions/issues an escalate Tier 2 HR questions to HRBPs or HR Manager.
  • Maintain and update vendors with appropriate information as needed
  • Analyze related program data and prepare required reports.
  • Confer with management to implement personnel policies or procedures
  • Maintain current knowledge of state and federal employment laws as they apply to position.
  • Notifies HR Manager of employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns when HR Manager is out.
  • Punctual and regular attendance
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Four-ten years related experience; Current knowledge and experience interpreting and applying federal and state laws and regulations as they apply to position.
  • Accuracy - Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Autonomy - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Communication, Oral - Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
  • Communication, Written - Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
  • Ethical - Ability to demonstrate conduct conforming to a set of values and accepted standards.
  • Honesty / Integrity - Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace.
  • Organized - Possessing the trait of being organized or following a systematic method of performing a task.
  • Relationship Building - Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers. 

 

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, E-Mail, HRIS
